More good in the world than bad

I woke up this morning feeling very unwell. I dug out our thermometer but my temperature was perfect despite sweating profusely and shivering!

I rang the doctors, 2 hours after the magical 8am when all appointments are snaffled up for the day. The receptionist, when I said I felt it was an emergency, said the dr would ring me back. They did within 5 minutes and asked me to make my way to the surgery and they’d fit me in. I was seen, treated, blood tests taken and was back home within the hour of making the call. I had also been offered a lift home from a villager as he was concerned about me, (and he messaged Mr H later in the day to see how I was) and when I called in the pharmacy on the way home to find the prescription hadn’t come through, they said they’d deliver it for me. As it happened they didn’t have the drug in stock, but rang me and told be where we could pick it up from and offered to collect it for me but Mr H was available by then.

Superb service, and kindness shown from start to finish.

It seems I have either a kidney stone and or a kidney infection. I am taking it easy, as even doing that is hard feeling like this!
