Netball action!

I can’t claim to be a sports photographer because I only take photos of whichever grandchild is participating in the game, in this case Elizabeth.
She was goal shooter for her school Blue Mountains Grammar in a home game against Oxley College from Bowral down south of Sydney.
That’s her in the main blip and scoring a goal in the extra (on the left with her arm in the air).
I don’t understand all the rules of netball but the game was exciting from start to finish with Oxley pushing BMGS all the way. It was closer than the final score 50-42 would suggest.
They are the top two teams in the competition so it was a big game but I was pleased to see the camaraderie between the teams - at the end both teams seemed less concerned about the result than the fact it was a great game and everybody enjoyed themselves.
