Still frequenting the cherry tree.

Of course I do not know if the Tui seen this afternoon as I passed by, is one of those I have seen in the tree on other occasions. Wind and heavy rain have jointly acted to cause most of the blossom to fall onto the ground below, including the sidewalk .

Later photos show the Tui singing. Much of the song was unheard by me, as it was ultrasonic. I like the way the parson's tuft and the white collar are seen amongst the multiple colours in the body feathers.
