Grey Heron

A sure fire way to make sure there are more heron around is to take up less fish. As I got near the park I noticed 4 heron on the tenement roof. They all flew down as I entered the park and another one joined the group. Thankfully I hadn't scaled back too much and still had enough to feed them all. The little female (pictured) took off in the direction of the clearing. I made my way there via the slope followed by the other 4 heron, the gull and 2 crows. I fed the 4 heron, the gull and 2 crows then got to the clearing. The little female was waiting along with the 3 coots. Got them all fed then made for home.
