Everything but the players

There was a Shrewsbury Town open day at The Meadow today so we stopped off for a little while, that turned into a couple of hours.
Owen insisted on wearing his Everton kit again and, although he wasn't too bothered about meeting some of the actual players, he had a great time on the inflatables, the outdoor gym, asking lots of questions, and was desperate to meet the mascots. We even bumped into Nicolette and some of Owen's school friends while we were there and he seems to be more interested in the idea of going to a match now too.

Later on we all had a trip over to Bella Italia in Walsall for Dad's birthday*. Great to catch up and we get to do it all again in a couple of weeks for Mike's birthday.
