Apple Tree

A very hot day, very still. Not a cloud in the sky at lunchtime. Just enjoyed the sunny weather on the lunchtime walk, mostly in woodland. A wonderful spell of weather.

After work a walk around the the Braid Hills. Views are a little hazy. Near the top of one of the hills stands an apple tree. The tree is stunted as there is very little shelter from the wind and the soil is very poor. However there are a few very small apples on its branches.

A work night out, so had a shower when I got home. This will be the first time I have met with them in person since lockdown. It is also nice to go out on a hot day and have a couple of cold beers.
