Still blooming

We didn't benefit from any thunderstorms or rain last night so everywhere is still bone dry.

I've been out playing with my new lens and am very pleased with it, particularly as I've rarely used manual focus before, but find it focuses really easily.

We're out to our friends for a barbeque later this afternoon and I'm still trying to decide what to wear.  Not much is probably the answer.

It's thirteen years today since we moved to our present home.  We said we'd give it five to ten years (why I don't know) and we're still very happy here.  It was another swelterning day, if not hotter.
