Back-lit Black-red

Another day that seems to have gone by with little achieved - including blip journals. It’s the last day of my sister’s visit - though we go our separate ways. She has a lunch with another of the grandchildren and his family, while we have our monthly lunch with our friend who has  MS. 

I’ve been following a generally gluten free diet since London in the hope of avoiding the severe pains I had back then. Today’s lunch is NOT gluten free, and before long the pain hits, so it’s either coincidence or my inflammatory issues have indeed been aggravated by a gluten intolerance - though I know a medical diagnosis will be needed to confirm this. 

Meanwhile, there’s little I can do but retire to bed with painkillers. Luckily, I’ve already done a little flower photography, our black-red back-lit dahlia catching my eye  - my blip for Abstract Thursday. Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting!
