Stranded

Not the day we planned...........

Morning at the pool then headed in to Limassol,planning a lunch in the old town and a wander round the market followed by a visit to our friend's bar as we hadn't managed to catch up with them yet. 20 minutes later we were off the main road with an overheating car. Turns out there was a hole in the cooling system. Trust us to stop in a village where every taverna, cafe and restaurant is closed on a Sunday! On the bright side at least there was a shop open to buy drinks and food.

This was lunch as we awaited rescue. The car hire company eventually turned up with a replacement vehicle, it took us 2 1/2 hours to do a 30 minute journey so we skipped the old town and went straight to see our friends. It was lovely to catch up but all too brief!

When I took this photo we had about as much life in us as the dummies in the window....it was very warm!
