Dippy and me

We were up at the crack of dawn and didn’t really stop to sit down until invited for a drink with a lovely family stopping in one of the bell tents.
Laundry and changeover amongst general “front of house” duties.
Feeding the pigs (watch this space)!
Walking around the field (full of sheep) with Dippy, Who had his eyes on every single one.
Found a propane gas bottle and exchanged it for the empty butane bottle.
Lunch was cheese and pickles with some warmed up chips fried in butter on the aga in the main house. Managed to get the floor painted in shower cubicle one. Prepared race bike for race later on. Captured chickens from main pen after their “chicken run” adventure.
Rode to TT and was set off number one.
Very happy to be feeling strong and confident on the bike and the way it handles.
Back home by 20:30 am after a shower I cooked the last section of shark in butter with some courgettes from the garden here.
Camomile tea and Zzzzz.
