What a day!

Up at 4:30 to re trace our steps to the festival for our balloon flight. Joined by friends Dave and Helen. Didn't really need to be there as early as they wanted (the balloon company) but it wasn't too long before other balloons were taking to the sky and we were set to readying our balloon.

After about 30 minutes we were ready to join the other dozen or so balloons in the sky and we were off. Lift off was smooth, the flight was smooth and the champagne flowed . Flight time was around an hour and our landing site was within sight of Bickleigh.
