WITH A SONG IN MY HEART

Phil and Bella

Phil is my nephew and he and my sister Sue came to visit today while Frank was in hospital for the endoscopy.
Bella was happy to have visitors.
They live in Southport, not far from where the awful atrocities happened.
Last night, Phil had seen smoke rising in the sky and wondered what was going on so took a walk down and almost got caught up in the thuggery.  These nasty individuals weren’t even from Southport. Apparently there are online groups that message each other and arrange to meet up to cause riots. He said some even arrived at the mosque by taxi. He saw them throwing bricks at the police and set fire to the police van.
He was really shaken by it.
Anyway, we had a nice afternoon together.
Sue can hardly walk as her hip is so bad. It’s been like this for the past 4 years and she only recently found out she hadn’t been put on the waiting list. She is on it now but how long will she have to wait? I’ve told her numerous times to phone up but she doesn’t like to complain and always says there are people worse off. I find it frustrating as she is nearly 74 and is practically bed ridden,

Everything went well with the ERCP and although they didn’t see any evidence of any cancer when the stent was removed the doctor took 10 biopsies. They are obviously being extra thorough!
Bob collected Frank and he was home by 4pm.
Sue and Phil didn’t leave until 8pm by which time we were really tired as we had been awake really early as Frank’s appointment was at 7.40am.
We have managed to stay up until now - almost 10pm.

Goodnight :-) X
