LeJog day12 through the last section of the Cairngorms and into Inverness (120kms.) The route took us over the highest paved road in Britain and, after the previous late night, and a dodgy curry, there were a couple of sections many of us had to walk up.
Cycling the region, I questioned my sanity every time the gradient went up, but only two days to go, and we did go through a town claiming to be home of the Golden Spurtle World Porridge Championships.
Extra: Glad to stop after most of the climbs, but still wanting to climb over an old bridge (built 1717.)
