Side window

Early walk just Hetty and I and as it was raining she wasn’t keen to go far. By the time the carpet fitters arrived it was dry and sunny and warm so Hetty missed out on the action as she was in the garden and didn’t realise anything was going on inside. The finished the job in around two hours and it looks really good. We had lunch and then started putting everything back and although they had vacuumed the new carpet they left a bit of a mess in the sitting room, so that needed sorting.
Up the hill with Hetty and it had got quite warm without us realising so she was a little slow up, but much faster down.
Had to call ee as we can’t get a signal in the cottage, walls too thick, and for some reason wifi calling not working. Hope it’s fixed soon as I need to make some calls tomorrow and don’t want to be doing it outside.
I noticed I could see the top of the hill over the houses looking out of the side landing window, never took any notice of this before.
