I'm confused. I was pleased to find this bread in Sainsbury's, Rye sourdough with the shortest list of ingredients I've seen in supermarket bread. Then I noticed that the label obscures another which clearly says Wheat flour.... so I tried to look it up on Sainsbury's website and I couldn't find it.

I don't need to avoid wheat, it's just that I like dense Polish ryebread and the lack of ingredients means I avoid the emulsifiers and preservatives that most bread has nowaday, and I also get the benefit of the fermentation.  It's as near to homemade as you'll get in a shop.

It'll be a week or so until I try it, bread lives in the freezer and I've still got about 3 slices left of the last loaf.

Edit: I've just found out via the Zoe FB group that sourdough doesn't have yeast in it. You can tell I know nothing about bread making!
