Bellicampane

I came across this entry by our tower captain on the bellringing website, Bellboard. It celebrates the arrival of the new Vicar on Sunday and the ringing which was done in his honour. It was good that the eight bells rung were all rung by our local band which has progressed so much in the last four years. Although it was only call changes, the ringing was accurate and very pleasant on the ear. All we need to do now is to find two more local people willing to learn and then we will be able to ring the full complement of ten bells.
I made bread today and experimented with different proving times given the heat. The bake was much better as I avoided the dough rising too rapidly.
