It is the heat of summer now in Albuquerque—just too hot to be outside, which is what I was thinking as I took this photo.

Today, I will work on my taxes for next year as I must distribute some assets to local charities and take a loss to avoid paying much higher taxes next April.  I must also pay the final installment for our trip to Italy next month.

Today is an expensive day...
