It's Not Over 'til....

You know how the saying goes, and today a backdrop to our wanderings around London Town were the updates from the Ashes Test. Whoever in the hierarchy of cricket doesn't understand that the 5 day game is not only the higher form but the one with most drama and consequence should be made to watch this again.
The swings to and forth in this game, the intrigue, the skill, the courage, the nail biting drama...just when the game was in the bag, it was out of the bag again. I had to go and lie down in St James Park for those final overs, then an exultant "Yes", was acknowledged by others who had similarly adopted prone or crouched postures whilst plugged into the game by smartphones.

Earlier in the day this chap was giving it up with some swing and blues on the South Bank, he didn't give his or her name, but I know it isn't the Fat Lady, she started singing at about 2:15pm at Trent Bridge Nottingham.
