Artificial Intelligence?

I photographed this in the local wood this morning. I reckon that it is a mushroom but the Artificial Intelligence in my iPhone  is of the opinion that it is a 7 banded Armadillo! 

Given that there are no Armadillos in this neck of the woods I reckon that I am right and that the AI is wrong!

However, has anyone any thoughts on what mushroom this might be?
