Early Light at the River…

As the clouds cleared, the areas of clear sky were intense shades of blue. Colours in Marlborough are often intense. I suspect that is because the air is so clean and clear. Thus the area is beloved by film-makers.
Maisie and I walked further this morning. That is because I lost one of my Merino and Possum gloves on our way to the Burleigh Bridge.. I discovered the loss once we were across the bridge and 10 minutes into walking downstream on the other side of the river. So we had to retrace our steps. Luckily I found the glove. A relief because these gloves are so warm and cosy. .
