A second day in London

This time joined by Janet, Chris & Brian. Had lunch in Spitalfields market then went back to The Garden at 120. The bar on the 14th floor was where this photo was taken. It was 30 plus degrees so we lingered here with a cold drink. Then D,J & I headed for Covent garden. J & I had tapas for dinner with an opera singer then a string quartet playing very close by. An ice cream eaten on the walk to the Gillian Lynne theatre finished the meal nicely. D’s friend Sadia joined her for dinner then we met to watch Standing on the sky’s edge. A musical I have wanted to see for a while. It finishes on Saturday so I am really pleased to have caught it as there are no plans for it to tour.
