Conor's Happy Place
With Mum at work and Orla at her RCS Bonnie & Clyde production, Dad and Conor took the opportunity for a trip to enjoy the great weather. Two sunny days forecast in a summer that has been mainly rain. They set off toward Glencoe and had some lunch at the Falls of Dochart, Killin. At that point Conor indicated that where he really wanted to go was Edinburgh, so they looped around Loch Tay and headed back south, stopping for a rest in the gardens of Dunkeld Cathedral. All the driving provided ample opportunity to chat about various things.
Accommodation in Edinburgh was an apartment close to New Arthur Place, where Dad first stayed as a fresher in 1992. After some dinner, a walk in the evening sun, through Parkside Terrace and into Holyrood Park. Conor has a strong memory of playing on these rocks four years ago on a similarly sunny evening.
