Kings Cross

Another very hot day.  I came up fairly early and went into the office for a catch up with the distribution team.  After a while I went over to Unit to look at the online and work on the clips with Miro.  Tom came over and picked up Project NS. We talked about the wedding and enjoyed the professional pics that are now up on Milly’s instagram feed. 

Mid afternoon I went over to Kings X to catch up with Joana and Waleed who are living there whilst he works on a big show for Amazon.  They are in a high fancy apartment looking down over the extraordinarily vibrant Kings X area. The stepped slope down the Regent’s Canal was full of holidaymakers and locals and as we walked back in the evening they were showing Elvis canal side.  I assume those on the slope had to pay and the smug pair in the boat just tied up and watched.  

After hanging out with J & W I met the post team for a final dinner (we obviously haven’t completely finished but Jeannine is going on holiday) at Dishoom.  The Kings X one is enormous and was full and lively and dinner was great. 

Stayed over at Anthony and Tanith and when I got there we sat out in the garden and had a glass of rose together in the warm  night.  A rare event!
