Dahlias!!

These are some of our dahlias out front . There are more out back for another day. I just love them .
Originally I was planning to drive up to Bellingham tomorrow to visit my good friend up there with Alzheimer’s . Another dear friend was coming from Alaska ( we three were all very close since early high school ) to ride up with me , then we were going to have some time together here in Portland. I was really really excited that my friend was going to be here! But she got quite ill with an old illness effecting her gut etc So all plans are off and now I’m hoping she just gets better. We’ll make alternate plans if she does feel better. Always adjustments in life as we know .
