Experimenting

A glut of blackcurrants from the community polytunnel & there’s only so much jam one needs. So some experimenting on behalf of the growers - two batches of Crème de Cassis. One made with vodka and the other with gin. Takes around 8 weeks to get all the berry goodness into the spirit so hopefully ready for the harvest lunch mid October when everyone will get a wee bottle. 
Fete task list is progressing well & hopefully get my baking done tomorrow evening.
