Summer In The City

Every month throughout summer, Cambridge council sponsors various bands in the city parks. Today, along with many others on Jesus Green, I watched the Harmony in Harlem jazz band and their singer whilst people were getting up from the grass and leaving their picnics to dance and jive along to the music. This couple were particularly good and I think some were dancers from the Lindy Hoppers Club. I didn't join in this time because I was on my own, but I do know how to 'strut my stuff.' The next one here is 11th August and we shall have the pleasure of listening to the Savoy Jazz Band.
