HMS Unicorn

Launched 1824, the oldest wooden warship still afloat. It needs a lot of repair work but it now getting underway slowly as some more funding has been obtained.
Today seems to have been largely taken up with walking and eating.
This morning I got the bus into town to help with a different walk which went by the old docks and along the river.
Then to Carnoustie where we had a walk to buy pies for lunch and then returned to eat them with salad in the garden.
Next home, briefly, for a cuppa a change of clothes before walking up the road for a meal out with Cafe volunteers and then walking home again.
Fortunately it was another lovely day, though slightly cooler than yesterday. 
I did manage to watch a few short bits of exciting Olympic finishes.
