What is it?!

These are seed heads and seeds from the corncockles we planted in our wild flower garden this year. They are very strange looking, I think they look rather like locusts but maybe that’s just me! The seeds will be planted in the autumn and we’ll hope for a better wild flower garden next year. The corncockles and poppies were good but not very much else!
