Moth-er’s Pride

The moth trap went out last night, and I finally got something impressive in there - namely this Elephant Hawk Moth. It wasn’t in pristine condition, but at least it’s something more than the LBM’s that I’ve been getting so far this year. I also got my first Thorn moth of the year. They are my favourite group, and distinguish themselves by holding their wings upright .  It’s been pretty hot today. An appointment at the hospital was enough for me. I went straight home afterwards to get out of the heat.
