ON A MISSION

Today was a bit of a mission…a day of 3 parts.

Besides the hiccup of the Rev going in the lorry lane on M20; meaning he had to drive at 30mph for 15 miles!!!!…..we had a good journey down to Hythe.
#Mum treated us to a delicious meal at a restaurant on the front. A bit pricey but really good food and this amazing view.
#The Rev enjoyed a Guinness!!

Then the main reason we were here was for Mum to visit a very dear friend of hers who has cancer and has been given weeks rather than months. It was a sad visit but she was better than we expected so we were able to have a nice chat and a laugh.
The Rev and I left after 10 mins so Mum and her could have some time. (We watched the rowing boats on the canal).

#Afterwards we went down to the front for ice cream.
##and a paddle. Wish we could have stayed longer but this was not the main purpose of trip, just an added bonus.
#whilst we paddled Mum went for a scooter ride along the promenade….the arrow shows her coming back :))))

A successful; if sad, trip.
