Marion

Now, before I get told, this is not a good photo, but it is a memory for my diary.  (Taken with my phone)

Today J and I went up to the windfarm for lunch,  it was such a good day, and while there we met Marion and her partner.   I had not seen Marion for about five years, we used to be joint secretaries to two directors of our firm, and many a tale we could tell you......

She is the Iron Lady, she cycles, swims, sails, and climbs, and it was great to meet up with her again and hear some of her stories.

Afterwards J and I took the coach tour around the windfarm, very interesting, as well as a commercial undertaking it has been laid out for recreation and was very busy with walkers, cyclists, runners, dogwalkers, etc.  

It is administered by the Glasgow Science Centre and as well as the above, it has an educational facility.  Windfarms are not popular with many people for many reasons, but they certainly are making the most of this facility on the Eaglesham Moor.

Then we had a pleasant sandwich and crisps lunch at the very reasonable cafe before going home.
