Elevensies with Spike (after Leonardo da Vinci)

Morning in Stroud Green where Spike makes me the best builders tea in London, coupled with great conversation. 

Balanced on top of the mugs are two sfogliatella, sweet pastries given to me by the manager of Caserta last night.


The pastries were very dense and very yummy.


It was only afterwards a saw the hint of Sistene Chapel about the composition. Appropriately Italian.
