Tough times

I read an article that says the osprey in our area had a very unsuccessful nesting year. One of the main reasons is the lack of menhaden. I  think the hot dry weather may also have played a part in it. I sure hope things turn around next year. Our birds have built a strong nest but I will have to tear it apart to keep the Canada goose from using it in the spring. Always something...Thanks for the visits and hearts and stars!
