Tree bark

It's been a veery hot sunny day.  I decided to go to the morning Zumba class and had an enjoyable time.  I returned home and was eating my breakfast when I saw a friend had contacted me and was suggesting meeting up.  I just had time to get in the car and meet up with her.  We enjoyed a morning coffee and catch up as we have both been so busy recently.

After this I returned home for a late lunch.  By now it had become very hot and I didn't venture out the house.  My husband returned from a bike ride with his friends which went well despite the heat.

It wasn't until it was beginning to get dark that the temperature was cool and pleasant, I quickly watered the plants on the allotment then.

Todays blip is of the bark on our pear tree.  It goes with the saying 'Barking up the wrong tree' for Tiny Tuesday on the theme of a proverb or saying.
