Didn't we have a lovely time...

the day we didn't go to Bangor.
We saw the sign to Bangor many times today but didn't go there. We hummed the song instead. 
We visited the Menai suspension bridge,  the famous town with the ridiculously long name then headed to Caernarfon to your the castle. After lunch we visited a slate museum and saw demonstrations and exhibits about the production of slate tiles etc.
Our drive through Snowdonia National Park was stunning. We are now in our hotel near.  Lampeter. I have included a photo of the map showing our route so far. Only three more days and our tour is over.
