Ribwort plantain ( Plantago lanceolata )

A day round home getting on with things.  Punctuated by an afternoon stroll in the sunshine heading for the village pub.

After our evening meal I was casting about for a blip.  It is a couple of weeks since I cut the grass.  You have heard of "no Mow May" I heard mentioned the other day "No mow year".  I am not quite that bad but I don't see the need for grass to be cut within an inch of its life.  This gave the Ribwort plantain chance to flower.  So as the weather had a striking resemblance to July weather I lay down on the grass for the shot.
