Eastend meets Trainspotting

I love some of the assignments I get to do as a photographer. These two artists are Eastend Cabaret, a group that has won Best Cabaret at Adelaide Fringe and has had numerous other nominations and TV appearances. They contacted me as they were headlining the cabaret stage at T in The Park and used the opportunity to have some photos taken that they can use for publicity during the Edinburgh Fringe.

The brief was to capture some of the recognisable elements of Edinburgh and then also some of the more hidden gems of the city. Film buffs will recognise this as the staircase that Renton and Spud ran down in Trainspotting so I thought it would be great to get the girls recreating the scene in their own inimitable fashion.
