Still warm

Took a little longer to get to the cottage as roadworks on M1 but traffic not bad. I put my denim jacket in the car as looking at the weather forecast I thought I would need it for the other end. But we actually went for a walk by the river to make sure Hetty had shade and jacket not required, very rare for me to have bare arms up north. The cottage was warm and daughter had left a beautiful vase of flowers in the window, which was so welcoming.
Took us a while to get it back to normal as they usually just wash up, strip the beds and walk away, so lots of stuff to put back to where we have them.
