Plumbago

The neighbour’s plumbago bush looks fine first thing in the morning. They would not have been open very long today as it has been extremely hot with temperatures up to 34 degrees. I was at the market before 8 o’clock but, even so, it was very crowded. Everyone had had the same idea as me to go out early to avoid the heat. There was a queue of seven before me at the first stall. We cancelled French conversation as it was too hot to sit outside and the club premises are locked during the holidays.. At least I had my haircut in the afternoon, which might increase comfort levels!
