Spiky

I treated myself to a trip to Leonardslea Lakes and Gardens today.

The first port of call (after the necessary cup of coffee (following a tedious journey into West Sussex) was the "Beyond the Doll's House" exhibit featuring a glorious collection of 1/12th doll's house dioramas representing an Edwardian estate and neighbouring villages. As always the detail blows me away - just one small scene can be found in extras.

It was then time for a walk (or rather gentle plod in the heat) around the gardens and wider estate.  I found this teasel in the deer park - but no deer or wallabies which inhabit the area. It is definitely spiky, so had to be B&W for today's Mono Monday challenge.
