Seen Through The Reeds

This female Great Crested Grebe is sitting on a nest just in front of these reeds. She was disturbed by my approach and left the nest to be ready in case of danger. This was the closest I could get to her and her nest through the reeds. This is the third nest that she and her partner have made this year. The previous two were destroyed by predators
