Wild day

We have had such a special day with friends, Sireesh, Dipti and their girls! They were driving from down South and broke their journey to hang out with us. We went to the Nature reserve in Edgbaston and then to Canon Hill Park. So much fun catching up with them and renewing connections.
Funny to hear a fellow blipper had also been at the nature reserve today! In extras I've added a photo of a tortoise shell - such gorgeous patterns. They were being moved from one enclosure to another, so we got a close up! Another highlight for the kids was the baby meerkats!
Home for a tasty tea in the garden and a bit of TV in bed with Asha.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Years of friendship with Sireesh and Dipti.
2) The kids getting on well.
3) Danny working extremely hard to sort some Spain based admin issues.
