Teams Stress!

Slept ok and then worked solidly all day in my little upstairs office.

Four hour marking shift in the morning, then some quality assurance examining work. Lastly, fought with Microsoft Teams on my new laptop, which I’ve hardly used yet as there’s been no time to get to know it properly. ‘We’ve added you to our Teams Channel’, never inspires confidence in me, and these were the words in the email from the school I’m assessing on Tuesday. I can’t afford to sign out of Microsoft 365 on my old laptop at the moment, as I use it daily for the quality assurance work, and am signed in with my British Council email address. Anyway, after an hour or so of stress with passwords, codes via the Authenticator app, and threats of having to get an alias email, I had access to their Channel and the documents. This same school also send a separate Teams meeting invite for the 5 meetings I have during the day. Most places give you one Zoom link that you use every time you join. I think I’ll start asking centres if they use Teams before I accept an request to assess now. It adds an extra layer of work and time. Does any of my blipper friends know if you can switch easily on 365 between different email sign ins and organisations? Undercovercairo?
