Alexanda and Grace

That is the name of these roses and my children ( well it's Alexander actually.)

The deep red/orange (redder than it looks here) is Alexanda and was bought by my mother in law for my son when we first came to this house 30 years ago. It is tall and strong and produces strikingly bold flowers that never vary in colour from bud to full flower. The petals that fall are just as red as they started.

Later we bought the Grace rose for our daughter. These are the inset pictures on the left.
It is a smaller rose that has yellow/red tinted buds and then forms strongly coloured deep apricot/gold blooms sometimes tinted with pink and then fades to a peachy cream or pink.
A beautifully formed rose of varying hue, vibrant and subtle on the same plant.

I think that they represent my children very well!
