Curiouser & curiouser

More cow pat flipping.

Walked Indie after making Mum's breakfast. Have'nt seen the cattle on hte hath for a couple of days but know they are there somewhere, probably found some shade. Walked down the old railway track which is very overgrown now so needed to clear the brambles. Bumped into the Formica ant lady on the way back. She and a friend were setting traps as the ants are beginning to fly now but only in dribs & drabs due to the inconsistent weather conditions.
Mum & I visited Eve at her charity open garden event, where we bumped into Ann who lived in the Old Police house next to The Anchor in CK when Mum & Dad were the licensees.  A lovely family, father, Hughie, was Jimmy Edwards brother. They'd had a family gathering only the day before. We bought two plants, & 2 slices of cake for later. Did a delicious roast with a short rib of beef bought from the butcher at Chudleigh market the day before. Watched the Equestrian crosscountry in a wonderful setting before dropping Mum home again.
