Indulgently lazy day

I do really love my dog Phin but it’s nice when I can take my time getting up and don’t need to rush out for the early morning walk. We’d arranged for him to stay in daycare until this evening just in case we were late back yesterday so I enjoyed an extra half an hour in bed this morning.

My biggest accomplishment today was going to the shops and picking up a few supplies before making a smoked haddock dish with green lentils for dinner. I had planned to tackle the ironing but it was too warm in the afternoon so it can wait till another day.

Collected Phin from daycare and he seemed excited to see us both and to play with his toys at home.
