Small Tortoiseshell

We went to Cambo Estate gardens this morning. Coffee and a shared rhubarb scone first and then we went our separate ways inside the Walled garden.

I was hoping to spot a butterfly and fortunately I know where they can usually be found if there were any there. It was quite breezy and when I spotted something larger than a bee flying around I had to try and track it till it landed on the wild marjoram. Fortunately it settled for a minute or so allowing me to take a few photos of the Small Tortoiseshell.

Team GB have done well in the Olympics. We watched the diving before we went out and then listened to the cycling and snow jumping on 5 Live. The mountain biking was so exciting .... the commentators did a great job.
