Strichen Lake

Mrs CBL and I spent the morning wandering around the grounds of Strichen Lake after enjoying coffees and fine pieces.

There is an eye-catching wildflower meadow which the gardeners have created and it is so colourful.  Alas it is tricky to take a photo which gives a wide view of it.  I can only imagine how beautiful it would look in a photo taken by a drone, it would be stunning.

This cornflower was my favourite of the images I took, it’s such a lovely, wee flower.
