Shankend Viaduct ...

... at last I have found the right place to photograph this magnificent viaduct - the Ducati was not best suited to the endeavor but we survived.  Some of Beeching's closures can be defended, but closing this Edinburgh - Carlisle Waverley line was beyond stupid.
