Prestatyn

A lovely but exhausting day today. My Dad set himself a challenge a while ago to climb all the Welsh Marilyn's and was off to Prestatyn area to tick one off. I got up very early to drive up there with him and as the marilyn he planned was only a short walk I did the park run beforehand to make it worth the drive, and because I've been wanting to complete a park run by the sea. 
It was a lovely run and the walk afterwards was enjoyable too, although it did rain a bit. At the summit of the hill there is a memorial to the crew of an aircraft that crashed there in 1947.
